Acrylic on Deep canvas
20”x24”
This is a commissioned piece.
It’s quite serene to look at. Serenity that almost seems lost in the current times. Much of the footwork for this painting was done in October, seemingly long before any crisis. The days were still so warm, the beaches were a welcome spot for visitors. But not so In demand that you’d be crowded.
My client had requested a female figure looking out to sea among other things. When I started doing the legwork for the painting I quickly realized that no one around here stands and looks out to sea, they relax, have a seat and take it all in. This serenity it what I wanted to capture.
