Identity

I came across this quote many years ago while working on an assignment. It has stuck with me. I think about it often while I’m working on a project. I can’t remember how I felt about it when I first read it, It must have resonated with me because I took the time to write it out and keep it. At the moment I feel a strong connection with this statement, as though it has become more true over the years for me and the people around me.

I’ve read that the author to the book where I found this quote has explained that if she had written this book even a few years later that it would be much different. She has grown and her inspiration has come from many more artists. I don’t expect a sequel is coming but I would love to read it if it ever materialized.
